| Otto Zutz Since 1985 |
Opened in June 1985, Otto Zutz was a revolutionary new concept in the field of nightlife in the city of Barcelona. Occupying a former textile factory in Lincoln Street, 15, his initial two-story structure with mezzanine floor, recreating the typical industrial environment based on New York office space decorated with hard materials, cement, casting pillars, metal fences, iron beams and ceilings vaulted from Mahon. It was a veritable factory of fun and glamour in the midst of the city.
The concept was based on the same socio-client "created-produced" atmosphere. The building was the factory, music and the client tool raw material. This formula created a concept offender, who transcended the limits of classical "establishment" both social as playful as artistic. In 1992, and the result of socio-economic momentum that the Olympics occurred in the city, opened a third plant at the top, where it was located on private called "Los Altos", space was quickly erected as a benchmark of famoseo and "beautiful people" of Barcelona, and famous visitors both domestically and internationally.
It was in 2005 when Klea Levin (decorator and interior designer), two new spaces designed with totally different styles. A small Vip called "El Paso", located between the ground floor and the Hot Club and a Super VIP, located on the third floor, with access restricted and completely booked for private parties and a meeting point for many celebrities, who want to enjoy an area exclusively.
Over time the concept of Otto Zutz ha ido evolve so as to the name of our club cross borders at the international level and is reference else, not just a "club or local crown" |
